Your cat will think it’s the Queen’s kitten with a new K&H Thermo-Kitty Heated Cat Bed.
These super popular cat beds have a heater inside! This keeps the bed warm to around 10-15 degrees warmer than ambient room temperature (which is a cats normal body temperature). Your cat will sleep longer and harder than she ever has before.
Go on, spoil her with a heated cat bed today.
The Best Heated Cat Bed – Indoor & Outdoor
You all know a cats tendency to find the warm patch in the bed once you get up in the morning. Mine basically pushes me out of bed so she can get my spot (I’m sure she thinks of me as a cat bed warmer)! And you know how much they love lounging in a spot with sun streaming through a glass window, intensifying the heat.
My point is, cats love being warm and toasty. The love a warm cat bed.
That’s why we’re taking a look at the best indoor and outdoor heated cat beds. We’re specifically considering K&H Pet Products Thermo-Kitty Heated Cat Beds. If you haven’t heard of them already, check out the following videos to see what they’re all about (and to meet Rocky the cat!).

About Thermo-Kitty Heated Cat Beds
As you’ll have heard in the video, these heated cat beds use less energy than an average night-light. K&H Pet Products have a large range of heated beds for sale, most of them using 4 watts of electricity (with one or two using 6 watts). K&H heated pet beds are MET listed, which means they meet the applicable safety standards for such products.
Most of their beds are available in a range of sizes, whether it’s their most popular heated cat bed in 16 or 20 inches, or one of their heated cat mats in 18 or 22 inches. You might like to choose the larger size if you have multiple cats – they love to snuggle up together in these beds!
K&H Pet Products heated beds are designed for easy cleaning, and many of them have removable, easy-to-wash covers and hoods. You’ll have to be sure you can wash and dry it quick though, or your cat is going to get grumpy!
There is sometimes the option to choose different colors as well, so choose wisely.
Let’s first take a look at some of the best indoor heated cat beds, before checking out the best outdoor heated cat beds.
K&H Pet Products Thermo-Kitty Bed Deluxe Hooded Heated Cat Bed
The Thermo-Kitty Bed Deluxe Hooded Heated Cat Bed is basically the same cat bed as above, but with a hood! The hood is attached with a zipper and can be easily removed. The cat above looks annoyed that she’s getting her pic taken rather than being asleep, doesn’t she?!
All the features of this warming cat bed are basically the same as the one above, so I won’t repeat them here. The only added feature is the hood. The benefit of choosing this bed is that you have the hood should you ever need it – you might not use it very often, but it’s there just in case.
K&H Pet Products Kitty Sleephouse Tan/Leopard Cat House
The K&H Pet Products Kitty Heated Cat House is maybe the most epic cat bed. Haha, look at it! It looks like it’s more suited as a lions den. This cat house comes in a heated or unheated option, so make sure you’ve selected ‘heated’ before purchasing (if that’s what you want).
This warming cat bed can can’t be washed quite as easy as the other options, it can only be spot cleaned as necessary. It is available in two colors: tan and leopard print. The leopard print design will make your cat feel bigger and braver than he really is (not scientifically proven, however).
K&H Pet Products Thermo-Kitty Mat – Heated Mat for Cats
The Thermo-Kitty Mat is a heated mat for cats! This option is perhaps not such a feature in a room, if you don’t like the look of a cat basket. The mat won’t stand out as much. The other benefit of the mat is that your cat will be able to sprawl right out – perfect for all the stretchy cats out there.
This mat comes in two colors: mocha and fleece. And in two sizes: 12.5 x 25 inches, or 14 x 28 inches.
K&H Pet Products Thermo-Kitty Fashion Splash Heated Cat Bed
The K&H Pet Products Fashion Splash Heated Cat Bed is another type of heated cat mat that may suit your needs and style better. This one is a cheap heated cat bed if your budget is on the lower side. However, the quality is just as good, and your cat is going to be just as happy!
This mat is available in an 18 inch diameter round mat, or 16 x 22 inch oval mat. The colors are mocha and blue. Make sure you check out the cat in the picture of the large blue mat – he looks pretty perturbed!
What you need to know:
Soft orthopedic foam base
MET safety listed Heater
Small mat uses only 4 watts – large mat 7 watts
Heater is removable for continued use in a hot summer
The K&H Pet Products Outdoor Kitty House has got to be the best outdoor heated cat bed (well, cat house!). If your puss needs to be spending plenty of time outside for some reason (like someone has a cat allergy), then make sure you provide him a warm cat bed.
Some people purchase this as a warm bed for stray cats. You don’t necessarily want to let strays into your home, but you can give them a warm dry place to sleep.
They can’t be placed out in the middle of the yard, they still need some shelter from wind and rain. They are best suited for use in garage, porch, or conservatory.
What you need to know:
Available in heated & unheated models
Heated model features our patented heating system
2 clear door flaps included with the heated model
Two exits so that your cat can escape if an unwanted predator enters
No tools needed to put it together
Uses 20 watts of electricity (a bit more than the indoor models)
This one is in an A-Frame style and also comes in heated and unheated options (but whose going unheated, really?). Great for multiple cats, this bed will keep them warm, dry, and safe.
This model uses much more power than the indoor models, and twice as much as the outdoor model above. 40 watts is it’s power usage. While more than the other options, it’s certainly by no means over the top.
What you need to know:
Heated shelter to keep cats warm even in freezing conditions
